I think Stella Blackmon is one of the most exciting filmmakers working right now. Some of her best work is rooted in her small hometown, often casting her own family members in deeply personal, beautifully shot films that feel both intimate + cinematic at the same time. Her work with Harry Styles + Baba will absolutely blow your mind. Keep your eye on this one.
